The idea
Most health apps ask you to track more. FitProof asks for a little less tracking and gives back a fuller picture: nutrition, movement, recovery and focus, read together as one day instead of four separate streaks.
What we built

1. One connected day
Five daily metrics — sleep, activity, calories, protein and steps — sit in a single Today view. Targets are personal, and the score reflects the data you log rather than a perfect streak.
2. Food, without the busywork
Search with suggestions, return to a recent meal, or look up familiar brands. With Pro you can also say what you ate or take one photo: FitProof recognises a meal or a nutrition label on the iPhone and opens the right review. Portions and macros stay editable, and photo nutrition is labelled as an estimate to check before saving.
3. Rest counts as progress
Recorded sleep is shown against your own goal, from Apple Health or a manual entry. The app works without Apple Health too; you choose what to share, permission by permission.
Private by design
Meals, measurements, workouts and Apple Health readings stay in the app’s local storage, and on-device intelligence makes sense of them without sending health logs to an AI provider. No health data is sold to advertisers and the website carries no advertising trackers. Sign-in uses Firebase Authentication, and only a small account profile is stored off the device.
Plans
Planned at launch: Free covers food search and manual logging, weight tracking, the daily dashboard and the Apple Health connection. Pro will add adaptive workout plans, voice and photo food logging, and on-device AI coaching, with subscriptions managed through Apple. Plans are not on sale yet.
What we did
Product strategy, brand and interface design, and the iPhone build — including the capture flows for photo, voice and text logging and the on-device analysis behind them.
